Bhubaneswar: In view of the rescheduling of the 2020-21 academic session due to the current lockdown, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Council will conduct a special entrance examination for first year B.Tech courses in all government and private engineering colleges.
OJEE Chairman Sudeep Chand informed on Tuesday that the special examination will be held for seats left vacant after the first phase of OJEE counselling.
Chand further said that the examination will be held only for those students who were unable to appear in the JEE (Main)-2020 examination due to some reason. The syllabus for the examination will be as per the JEE (Main) 2020, he added.
He said that the process of online application for B.Tech courses will start from May 12 and continue till May 31. The deadline for depositing the fee is June 5.
Detailed instructions and terms and conditions for online application will be available on the OJEE website www.oiee.nic.in
The OJEE chairman also said that the last date for submission of online application forms for all OJEE 2020 applications is extended up to May 31 and the last date for fee payment up to June 5.
The detailed schedule regarding the revised dates for downloading the admit cards and the examination will be notified in due course of time on the assessment of the situation after May 17.
