Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Khimji Jewellers has once again bagged the assignment for repair and restoration of the gold ornaments of Lord Jagannath and his siblings of Puri.
This is the 12th year Khimji Jewellers has been given this prestigious job of refurbishing the ornaments of Puri temple deities.
Every year, Shree Jagannath Trust Administration (SJTA) gets the jewellery refurbished ahead of Suna Besha.
A team of highly skilled and experienced goldsmiths have been deployed by Khimji Jewellers in the temple premises under the watchful eyes of the temple authorities to carry out the work.
Expressing his happiness at being assigned the honourable work, Director, Khimji Jewellers, Sumeet Khimji said “We feel fortunate and blessed that we were given the opportunity to serve the Lord this year too. I thank the temple authorities to continue to trust us with such work.”
