Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2023 began on Monday. The examination, being conducted in 47 centres at 33 locations including three located outside Odisha, is scheduled to continue till May 15.
The entrance examination is being conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses.
The OJEE 2023 is being held for admission to BPharm/MCA/MSc (Comp Sc) /MBA/Int MBA/BCAT/MTech / MTech (Part-Time)/ MArch/MPlan/MPharm and lateral entry to BTech/BPharm courses in government and private universities and colleges in the state, sources said.
A total of 55,979 candidates had submitted the applications for the entrance test. The exam is being conducted in three shifts – 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm.
The examination for lateral entry is being held on the first day, while the examination for MCA and MTech will be held on the second day. Similarly, the examinations for MBA and BPharm will be held on May 11 and 12 respectively.
