AIIMS, Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar will start conducting kidney transplant surgery from August this year, institute Director Prof Mukesh Tripathi informed.
Prof Tripathi said that AIIMS Bhubaneswar has already received the required permission from the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) of the Odisha government to start the procedure.
He was speaking on the occasion of the 10th Institution Foundation Day ceremony.
Soon, AIIMS Bhubaneswar will also have a dedicated burn and plastic ward, new trauma and emergency area and dharmasala building, he added.
AIIMS Jodhpur Director Prof Sanjeev Misra, who attended the event as chief guest, congratulated AIIMS Bhubaneswar for completing 10 years.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Director (Designate) Prof Ashutosh Biswas said he will leave no stone unturned to make AIIMS a world-class healthcare facility.
