Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has revised guidelines for issuance of miscellaneous and caste certificates.
The decision has been taken to facilitate quick delivery of certificate services to citizens and bring transformational changes in citizen-centric governance.
As per the revised guidelines, the resident, income and income & asset certificates will now be issued in 10 days instead of 15 as is the practice presently.
The Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, SEBC and OBC certificates will be issued within 15 days instead of the ongoing practice of 30 days.
However, there is no change in issuance timeline for solvency, legal heir and guardianship certificates. These certificates shall continue to be issued within 30 days.
Legal Heir Certificate shall be issued for all purposes so that citizens will not be required to apply more than once for different purposes.
