Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday launched the ‘House Allotment System’ under its ‘Housing for All’ policy.
‘House Allotment System’ is a transparent and professionally managed web-based software solution as well as an android-based mobile application developed by the Odisha Urban Housing Mission (OUHM).
State Housing & Urban Development Minister Usha Devi launched the system at an event organised by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).
The system will work on the principle of continuous registration of all families who want to avail dwelling units.
Its other features are Legacy Data Management and Integrated Payments mechanism. The Legacy Data Management ensures cross-verification of beneficiaries who have availed housing facilities through earlier government schemes whereas the Integrated Payment mechanism will ensure hassle-free online payment by the beneficiaries.
