Berhampur: On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Prashant Kumar Nayak, DLR typist of the Lingaraj Law College in Ganjam district’s Berhampur, the vigilance sleuths of Berhampur Division conducted simultaneous raids on his office and houses on Wednesday.
According to sources, the raids were conducted on a triple-storied building-cum-motor spare parts shop at Aska Road, a triple-storied residential new building at the Bank Colony in Berhampur, a double-storied godown at Aska Road, a rented godown at Brundabati Nagar in Berhampur and another rented godown at Bishnunagar in Berhampur.
The anti-corruption officials have so far recovered Rs 18.05 lakh from Nayak’s house.
