Jajpur: The district police have launched home delivery of medicines to keep people indoors during the COVID lockdown.
In Twitter posts on Sunday, SP (Jajpur) Rahul PR said the home delivery of medicines will be done in both rural and urban areas within 24 hours and payment will be received on delivery.
He informed that Jajpur Road police station will be in charge of the home delivery of medicines in rural areas and Jajpur Town police station will carry out the responsibility in urban areas.
For ordering medicines, the SP said the district police have issued two helpline numbers—8984227476 (for rural areas) and 9556440191 (for urban areas).
To get the medicines, the people should send the photo of the medical prescription through these two WhatsApp numbers, he added.
