Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Sunday declared complete lockdown throughout the state from May 5 to 19. While essential services are allowed, religious gatherings have been banned.
However, weddings are allowed. Permission from local authorities is mandatory.
A ceiling of 50 persons, including catering staff, priests and guests besides others, has been imposed and the number should not exceed under any circumstance, the government has warned.
Apart from that, other COVID-19 protocols such as social distancing, keeping sanitisers at the venue are to be followed strictly.
Similarly, for funerals, the limit is 20.
