Puri: As part of the Odisha-wide lockdown, police in Puri police on Monday imposed restrictions on morning and evening walkers.
Those found coming out for walks after 6 am and 6 pm will be fined, SP (Puri) SP Kanwar said. Strict action will be taken against the lockdown violators, the SP added.
Also on Monday, Puri police detained 15 morning walkers.
“The defaulters were clearly violating the lockdown and were found moving after the prescribed time limit without any reason. Don’t get embarrassed when stopped by police. Be a proud citizen. Don’t violate lockdown,” Puri police tweeted.
