Bhubaneswar: K Krushna Prasad (40) reportedly became the 50th journalist from Odisha to have succumbed to COVID-19, sources said on Saturday.
Prasad died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Vizag.
He was working for Telugu daily ‘Eenadu’ and was based at Gosani in Gajapati district.
Of the 50 journalists in Odisha who have died of COVID so far, 12 succumbed in the first wave and 38 in the second wave.
