New Delhi: Following the end of seventh and final phase of polling in the marathon Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, the exit polls are gradually coming up with projected seats for parties and alliances.

If the numbers of exit polls are to be believed, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) may be in for a rude shock.

The ABP-C Voter exit poll has found BJP to be getting as many as 17 to 19 sets out of Odisha’s 21 Lok Sabha seats, reducing BJD to between just 1 and 3.

As per Today’s Chanakya, BJP may win 16 to 19 seats, while BJD is likely to get 2 to 4 seats, while Congress may get 1.

The Jan Ki Baat exit poll is projecting almost similar numbers, with BJP likely to win 15-18 seats, BJD 3 to 7 seats, while the Opposition INDIA bloc may not open its account.

India News-D-Dynamics has given BJP 13 seats, 8 to BJD and none to INDIA group.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, BJD won 12 seats, BJP 8 and Congress 1.

Assembly polls were held simultaneously with Lok Sabha election in Odisha, the projected numbers for which are awaited.
