Bhubaneswar: The daily count of COVID-19 tests conducted in Odisha crossed 60,000 for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday, the Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Department informed on Monday.
Additional Chief Secretary, H&FW, Pradipta Mahapatra informed that 60,909 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. These included 7490 RT-PCR, 53,295 antigen and 124 Truenat tests.
The highest of 9,219 tests were conducted in Mayurbhanj followed by 8,864 in Kendrapara and 8,644 in Ganjam district.
The tests are being conducted in 11 private laboratories, state-run medical colleges and hospitals and AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, RMRC, ILS and IISER.
