Rayagada: A man riding a motorcycle with his wife and child sitting pillion was killed in a road accident on NH 326 near Gumma ghat in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Majhi.
According to sources, the couple was en route to Koraput from Rayagada when their bike rammed into a stationary SUV. The man died on the spot while his wife and daughter were rushed to the district headquarters hospital with critical injuries after locals informed police about the accident.
The body was also sent for postmortem. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
