Bhubaneswar: At a time when the corona fear has gripped the entire nation, a man dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi was spotted distributing masks and sanitisers in the capital city on Monday.
According to the ANI, the man was seen distributing the masks and hand sanitisers among the underprivileged people of the slum areas near AIIMS in Bhubaneswar.
As COVID-19 cases are surging day-by-day, the Odisha government has made it compulsory to wear masks while stepping out.
As per the government’s order, people without masks will have to pay a fine of Rs 200 for violating the rule on the first three instances and then Rs 500 subsequently.
