Bhubaneswar: A team of police officers from Kerala on Monday arrested a man from G Udayagiri in Odisha’s Kandhamal district in connection with the murder of an elderly man.
The accused, identified as Raj Kumar, had reached G Udayagiri on Monday after allegedly killing the man and looting his ornaments in Kerala.
On getting details about his whereabouts, the Kerala police contacted their Odisha counterparts and arrested him from his native village in G Udayagiri block.
He was brought to Bhubaneswar and taken in a flight to Kerala with permission from the Commissionerate Police, sources said.
