Odisha Man Held For Circulating ‘Obscene’ Video Of Ex-Lover

Jajpur: A spurned lover has been arrested for allegedly circulating an obscene video of his ex-girlfriend on WhatsApp in Odisha’s Jajpur district.

The accused, identified as Prabhat Nayak (32) of Khairabad village, had sent the video to the family of a prospective groom for his former lover after getting to know about the marriage proposal.

According to sources, Prabhat was in a relationship with the girl when the two were working in a private company at Panikoili in the district. He had recorded an indelicate video of the girl during their courtship. They, however, broke up after six years and Prabhat then married another girl.

On finding the video on social media, the girl then lodged a complaint with police, which nabbed him after conducting raids at various places.
