Bhubaneswar: The evaluation process of Matriculation exam answer papers will begin from May 21 at 58 centres across the state, informed Dr Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, vice-president of Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
The teachers will evaluate answer sheets of students Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Madhyama and State Open School Certificate (SOSC) exams.
According to BSE, the examiners will have to reach evaluation centres at 10 am on May 20 and the process will start from May 21. A total of 481 chief examiners, 900 deputy chief examiners, 8,919 assistant examiners and 930 scrutinisers will be engaged for the evaluation work, the Board stated.
The evaluation is expected to continue for 10 to 12 days. More than 5.85 lakh students wrote the annual matric examination this year which were held between April 29 and May 7.
