Odisha Matric Board To Follow Coronavirus Safety Guidelines During Evaluation Of Answer Sheets

Cuttack: The evaluation of the answer sheets of the annual Matric examination in Odisha will be done in accordance with the safety guidelines of the state government on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

In a videoconferencing here on Monday, president of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Ramashish Hazra said that the evaluation of the answer sheets from March 19 to April 10 will be held from 8.30 am to 4.30 am.

“The teachers during the evaluation will sit at a distance of minimum six feet from each other. If any teacher having cough, cold or fever will be relieved of the duty,” he said.

Hazra also said that all subjects will not be evaluated at a time this year. “It has been decided that the evaluation of the answer sheet of a single subject will be held in three phases in a day,” he added.
