Odisha Matric Results To Be Declared On May 7

Cuttack: The results of annual High School Certificate (matric) examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will be announced on May 7.

Addressing mediapersons at a press conference here on Friday, BSE president Dr Jahan Ara Begum said, “The results will be published at 9 am. The students can log on to the official websites- www.bseodisha.nic.inwww.bseodisha.ac.in and www.orissaresults.nic.in to know their results, which will be available from 12 pm onwards.”

Those who do not have internet facilities can type OR10 <ROLL NO> and send it to 5676750. Similarly, the scanned copies of the OMR answer sheets will be available on www.bseodisha.ac.in from 2 pm the same day, she added.

Besides, the Board has set up two helpline numbers 0671-2412059/2412060 to receive complaints from the students and guardians.

A total of 6,08,659 students had appeared for the examination conducted between February 23 and March 8.

The evaluation of answer sheets started at 57 centres across the state on March 20 and concluded on April 4. As many as 13,285 teachers were engaged for this purpose.

However, the evaluation process was affected owing to the strike by block grant teachers seeking fulfilment of their demands, including, withdrawal of affidavit clause for availing grant-in-aid facility.
