Panchkula: Odisha is emerging as the home of Indian hockey. And it’s showing in the results of the state teams at various levels.
The Odisha men’s and women’s teams both registered victories in the 4th Khelo India Youth Games on Sunday.
The men beat Chandigarh 2-0, thanks to goals from Rohit Singh and Deepak Minz.
The Odisha women, on the other hand, overcame a tough challenge from hosts Haryana to post a narrow 1-0 win. It was their successive victory at the Games.
