Bhadrak: Traffic came to a grinding halt on National Highway 16 as over 200 inmates of a quarantine centre staged a blockade near College Road in the district on Tuesday, alleging mismanagement at the centre set up at Bhadrak Autonomous College.
The agitators said that they were forced to take this step as repeated complaints about lack of basic facilities and poor quality of food served at the centre fell on deaf ears.
They later agreed to withdrawn following the intervention of the additional collector.
