New Delhi: PM Granite Exports Pvt Ltd on Tuesday bagged the Kanthar-Koira manganese block in Odisha’s Sundargarh district.
Besides PM Granite Exports, Anand Exports, Yazdani Steel and Power Ltd, TP Sao and Sons Pvt Ltd, Rungta Mines Ltd and Vendnta Ltd were in the final race of this block with an estimated manganese reserve of 0.615 MT.
PM Granite Exports won the bid by committing to pay 110.04 per cent of the average sale price to the Odisha government.
The lease was earlier with Rungta Mines Ltd.
It was possibly the last working block to go under the hammer.
