Sundargarh: It was a rare opportunity for those who had gathered at a cultural event organised at Sunaripada in Odisha’s Sundargarh district as part of the Ganesh Utsav as they got to witness a delightful dance performed by Minister Sarada Prasad Nayak.
Odisha Labour Minister Sarada Nayak, who was a guest at the event held recently, was seen on the stage when Hindi movie song ‘main hun don’ was being played. The senior BJD leader could not resist himself and soon started dancing to the tune as the artist in him stepped out. Amid applause from the audience, Nayak continued to entertain those present at the event for quite some time.
Supporters of Nayak also joined him on the stage and attempted a few steps, leaving the audience enthralled. The show has now become a hot topic of discussion in the district and outside after a video of the programme went viral on social media.
Notably, the Minister is known for his active participation in social and cultural activities in different places of the district, locals said.
While many people recalled similar ventures made by the Minister on several occasions in the past, a section of locals raised questions over his performance in the department he has been entrusted with.
