Odisha Minister Wins Hearts With This Gesture

Titlagarh: Action speaks louder than words. Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Minister Tukuni Sahu proved this and more by helping differently-abled school kids put on new shoes.

A picture of her kneeling down to help the children of Services Centre for the Disabled (SCD) in Titlagarh has gone viral and winning hearts. She was the chief guest at the function where new shoes were distributed among the children on Saturday.

The Minister also said that she will be available to help the children and the centre whenever needed.

The two-time legislator is the only woman in Naveen Patnaik’s cabinet.

Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, after taking the reins of Odisha for the fifth term, had directed Ministers to extensively tour the state, interact with the common people and try to address their grievances.

He gave a clear message to all his 20 ministers that good governance and public service were the top priorities of his government.
