Angul: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA from Pallahara tied the nuptial knot with Abalisha Patnaik in a glittering ceremony in Odisha’s Angul.
The marriage of the 39-year-old legislator was held at a star hotel in the industrial town on Friday night, while the wedding reception is slated to be held on Saturday.
The wedding took place as per Hindu rituals in presence of close friends and relatives, sources said.
The legislator tied the knot with Abalisha, daughter of Madhusudan Patnaik of Baniyabahal area in Angul district. He went in a grand procession amid bursting of firecrackers and music from his house at Amalapada for the wedding.
While the marriage was solemnised smoothly, a reception is being organised at Pallahada on Sunday by the MLA.
It may be noted here that Mukesh Pal was elected as an MLA for the first time in 2019.
