Odisha MLA Recovers From COVID-19, Gets Discharged From Hospital

Balasore: Nilagiri legislator of BJP Sukanta Kumar Nayak was on Wednesday discharged from COVID Hospital here after he recovered from the disease.

Nayak had complained of cough and cold on July 4 and his swab samples were sent for test. After the report confirmed positive for COVID-19, he was admitted to the Balasore COVID Hospital.

He was discharged from the hospital after his swab samples tested negative for the virus.

Meanwhile, Remuna MLA of BJD Sudhanshu Sekhar Parida, who came in contact with Nayak during the condolence meeting of late Balasore Sadar MLA Madan Mohan Dutta, has tested positive for the virus and is undergoing treatment at a COVID Hospital.
