Bhubaneswar: Odisha MLAs will take part in Navy Day celebrations on December 4 in Puri to be graced by President Droupadi Murmu, who will arrive in the state capital on Tuesday.
Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy, in a statement on Monday, the lawmakers will travel to the pilgrim town in special buses and they may take their spouses to witness a spectacular display of India’s naval prowess at Puri blue flag beach.
“The formal notification with regard to MLAs’ visit and adjourning the House on December 4 may be issued on Tuesday,” a senior official at the assembly secretariat said.
