Bhubaneswar: Rajya Sabha member from Odisha Sasmit Patra has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a tweet on Tuesday, he stated that he was in home isolation as per the guidelines after testing positive for COVID-19. He has requested all those who came in contact with him for the last few days to go for the test.
Meanwhile, the number of Odisha MLAs afflicted with COVID-19 went up to 19 after five more legislators tested positive for the virus. Of the five MLAs, two are from the BJP and three from the BJD.
