Odisha Music Director Prem Anand’s Music Video To Energize College Students

Bhubaneswar: To spread positivity among college students amid the COVID-19 lockdown, Ollywood’s popular music director Prem Anand has composed and directed a motivational song ‘Puni Ame College Jiba’.

“Because of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, all classes are being conducted online. Most students have got bored at home and are badly missing going to college and the company of their friends. Some are going through depression. To re-energize them and provide encouragement, we have come up with this motivational song,” said Prem Anand.

The lyrics of the song — ‘Bijayi Haba Ame Bijayi Haba, Puni Hasare Sanga Sathi Melare, Jibana Sajaeyideba Puni College Jiba’ — has been penned by Gopal Krushna Mohanty and Basant Raj Samal.

Ananya Sritam Nanda and Sabisesh Mishra have rendered their voice to the song.

The music video was released recently on YouTube.

“I hope the college students will be proactive after listening to this song,” Prem hoped.

Sital Patra, Somalin Parida, Queen, Ankita Bhowmik and Ankit Kumar have acted in the music video. Pranay Jethy is the creative head.

This social awareness song is an initiative of Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET), Gunpur, and its president Dr Satya Prakash Panda.
