Bhubaneswar: Visitirs to Nandankanan Zoological Park were dissapointed to find the zoo temporarily shut on Wednesday after two wild elephants entered the premises around 11 pm last night.
The elephants are reportedly hiding near the zebra enclosures inside the zoo. Officials of Nandankanan and Chandaka Wildlife Division have been deployed to drive them away, sources said.
The Botanical Garden, however, will remain open, informed zoo Deputy Director Sanjeet Kumar.
