Mayurbhanj: A migrant Odia of Mayurbhanj district has reportedly died of COVID-19 in Haryana.
The deceased has been identified as Sushant of Dihirakula village under Udala police limits in the district.
According to sources, the youth had migrated to Haryana and was working in a private company there. His marriage was fixed and it was to be solemnized in the coming days.
Following the nationwide lockdown, he, however, was unable to return home.
Sushant complained of ill-health eight days ago following which he was admitted to a hospital. He died while undergoing treatment on Monday. His swab samples, which were collected after his death, later tested positive for the virus.
