Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is also the president of the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), has appointed several new office bearers for the party unit in Jagatsinghpur district.
According to a press release issued by BJD’s organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das, the party president has appointed 12 senior vice presidents, 14 vice presidents, 28 general secretaries and 45 secretaries for the district unit.
This apart, Naveen has also appointed five members of the district advisory committee of Jagatsinghpur BJD unit, the release said. The appointment has been made with immediate effect.
