Odisha: Naveen Patnaik Appoints New Members Of Balasore District Committee

Bhubaneswar: A day after picking Aswini Kumar Patra as BJD’s Balasore unit president, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced appointment to different posts in the district committee in an apparent bid to strengthen the organisation ahead of the next elections.

Besides president, the party has appointed four senior vice presidents, 9 vice presidents and 16 general secretaries for the district unit. Satendra Kumar Das is the media coordinator.
