Odisha: OAS Officer Chitrasen Rout Appointed As Additional Secretary To Chief Minister

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Saturday appointed senior OAS officer Chitrasen Rout as additional secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

A notification issued by the General Administration department on the day said Rout, Additional Secretary, Works Department, has been transferred and posted as additional secretary to the Chief Minister.

This is the third major change in the officials of chief minister’s office. Earlier, the state government had appointed senior OAS officer Trilochan Mohanty as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister. Mohanty was earlier serving as Sub-Collector of Keonjhar which is the home district of the Chief Minister.

Similarly, Satish Chandra Samal was shifted from the Home Department and appointed as the Additional Private Secretary to the Chief Minister.
