Bargarh: Taking note of the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Odisha with alarming proportions, two senior officials of Bargarh district have set off a mass awareness campaign to educate the people on the preventive measures against the killer virus.
The two officials—Sub-Collector, Padmapur, Tanmay Kumar Darwan and Executive Officer of Padmapur Notified Area Council (NAC) Jayant Kumar Sahu went around the town on the cycle and advised the people and the traders to use a mask, stay indoors and strictly adhere to social distancing norms to keep the virus at bay.
They also supervised the sanitation drive in the town.
