Jajpur: After Ganjam district, prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC have been clamped in Jajpur district to check the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
It restricts gathering of more than five persons at a single place.
Besides, leave of all government employees have been cancelled.
The district administration has also decided to call off the famous Baruni Snana scheduled to be held on March 21.
Similarly, leaves of government officials in Bhadrak and Rayagada districts have also been cancelled in view of the coronavirus outbreak, which has been declared as a ‘state disaster’.
