Odisha On COVID-19 Alert: Dhauli Peace Pagoda Out Of Bounds For Tourists Till March 31

Bhubaneswar: In pursuance of the safety guidelines issued by the Odisha government to check spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Khurda district administration on Sunday announced closure of the Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa) at Dhauli, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, till March 31.

Informing the media here, Khurda Collector Sitanshu Kumar Rout said that the decision has been taken to avoid large gatherings of people.

He also informed that the district administration will take a similar decision for the Lingaraj Temple soon.
