Cuttack: Two days after postponing the written examination for recruitment to ASO posts, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Saturday announced the new date.
In a notice issued on the day, the OPSC stated that the written examination for appointment to posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) will be conducted on August 27 (Saturday).
The examination will be held in three sittings. It will start at 9 am and end at 4.30 pm with breaks for general candidates, while the tests for persons with disabilities will end at 5.10 pm.
The Commission has advised the aspiring candidates to visit its official website for the updates.
Earlier, the ASO examination was scheduled to be held on August 21. But, the Commission postponed it on Thursday in view of the dislocation caused by the severe flood in the state.
