Bhubaneswar: Odisha cricketer Ashutosh Chhuria has been selected to be a part of the Under-23 National Cricket Academy (NCA) High Performance Camp which will be held at Puducherry from May 30 to June 18.
The 20-year-old right-arm pacer, who hails from Sambalpur district, has been called to the camp as reward for his outstanding bowling performances in the 2022-23 BCCI domestic season, Odisha Cricket Association said in a press release.
Ashutosh scalped 11 wickets in the U-25 (one-day) State A Trophy and 31 victims in the (multi-day) Col CK Nayudu Trophy, including a 9-wicket innings haul (33-3-131-9) against Baroda.
The NCA High Performance Camp will provide Ashutosh a tremendous opportunity to upgrade his skills and get prepared for the upcoming domestic season.
Ashutosh had also been called to the MRF Pace Foundation camp earlier this year.
