Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded a voter turnout of 78.3 per cent in the second phase of the three-tier, five-phase panchayat polls held on Friday, the State Election Commission (SEC) informed on Saturday.
Sonepur district recorded the highest 85.67 per cent turnout followed by Jharsuguda (85.14), Boudh (84.9), Kalahandi (83.81), Gajapati (82.69) and Gajapati (82.69).
Ganjam district recorded the lowest turnout at 64.86 per cent.
In the first phase on February 16, the state recoded 77.2 per cent turnout.
