Odisha Panchayat Polls: Candidate ‘Attacked’ In Kendrapara, Blames Rival

Kendrapara: A sarpanch candidate from Juania panchayat under Aul block in Kendrapara district has alleged that a rival candidate attacked him and his family members late Thursday night.

Prashant Samal has lodged a police complaint, in which he has alleged that at least 30 armed men entered his house and assaulted his family members, it was reported.

Samal has blamed the attack on his rival Subrat Nayak.

Nayak rejected the allegations. He said he was sleeping at the time and came to know about the incident from villagers.
