Angul: A presiding officer for the panchayat polls in Odisha died on Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack.
Suvendu Kumar Nayak, headmaster of a primary school in Kishore Nagar block, was leaving for poll duty when he suffered a heart attack. He was 53.
He had been deputed as the presiding officer of Banarpal block.
