Paradip: A man from Odisha’s Paradip has gifted his wife and daughter two patches of land on moon.
Like a handful of others from Odisha who had gifted a patch on land on the far side of the moon to their loved ones, Prabir Kumar Pradhan too bought two patches – Lake Of Happiness and Sea of Serenity – for his wife and daughter.
“My daughter Pradyasa shows keen interest in the solar system and reads a lot about the moon and stars, so I felt gifting her a piece of land on moon would be an ideal birthday present for her which she can explore in the future,” said Prabir while speaking to OdishaBytes.
He has gifted her Sea of Serenity and the young girl hopes to fulfil her father’s wish by studying hard towards achieving the goal.
His wife Debashri said this is the best gift she and her daughter have received in their life. “We may or may not be able to see our property on the moon but considering the advances in science, we hope our daughter might be able to reach there.”
Prabir had bought the land patches from Luna Society International, an American organisation that sells lunar real estate on January 17 for daughter and on April 27 for wife.
