Bhubaneswar: Results of the annual Plus II examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha are likely to be announced by the end of next month.
Stating that the evaluation of answer sheets is slated to begin on Monday, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said that the whole exercise will be carried out in online as well as offline mode in two phases.
The first phase of evaluation is scheduled to be conducted from April 10 to 22, while the second phase will be held between April 23 and May 7.
Elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure smooth conduct of the evaluation. The focus is on ensuring fair and flawless evaluation.
While the evaluation of answer scripts will be conducted in offline mode at 65 centres, it will be held in online mode at 39 centres.
Once evaluation of answer sheets is complete, the process for tabulation of marks will begin. It is expected that the Plus II exam results will be announced by the end of May, the Minister said.
The Plus II examinations in the state were conducted between March 1 and April 5. More than 3.5 lakh students appeared for the board examinations in 1,145 examination centres across the state.
