Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual Plus II examinations in Odisha will be announced by the first week of June, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said on Wednesday.
Briefing the media, the minister said the evaluation of Plus II papers will begin from the first week of April, the results of the Science stream will be declared in the last week of May and those of the Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams will be announced in the first week of June.
Dash maintained that the results will be declared in time to enable the students to prepare for the all-India entrance examinations.
He further said that to complete the evaluation within the specified time, the department has directed the teachers to join in the process. Action will be taken against those who fail to do so, he added.
Talking about the smooth conduct of the examinations, the minister said that the Plus II colleges have been asked to install CCTV cameras in the examination halls to curb malpractices.
