Banki: Police have busted a sex racket running operating from a hotel at Kalapathar area in Banki of Odisha’s Cuttack district, officials said on Tuesday.
According to sources, the IIC of Baideswar police station Priyadarshan Sethi led the raid by posing as a customer and detained two youths from the post late on Monday. Two girls were also rescued.
The alleged mastermind, identified as Bikram Mohapatra, has also been detained for questioning. His wife may also be interrogate in connection with the racket, sources added.
This come four days after police dismantled a sex racket operating from a house at Madhusudan Nagar under Khandagiri police limits in Bhubaneswar and rescued four girls, who were allegedly trafficked and forced into the trade.
