Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Crime Branch on Sunday said its Special Task Force (STF) has arrested two gunrunners in Khurda district.
The two accused, Basanta Moharana of Nayagarh and Krushnachandra Srichandan of Khurda town. were arrested during a raid at Siko village near Jankia on Saturday night.
Sources said police received a tip-off about illegal sale of guns at Siko. The police launched a raid and seized five pistols, five SBML guns, eight bullets, an empty cartridge, and one motorcycle.
Several police cases are registered against the accused in different districts of Odisha, the sources added.
