Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police have rescued 404 children during the special drive to trace and rescue missing children in the state.
The special drive that commenced on February 28 concluded on March 8. The rescued children include 322 girls and 82 boys, stated a release of Odisha Police.
As per a release by Odisha Police said 338 children have been rescued in reference to specific cases registered in police stations and have been restored to their respective parents and guardians.
Maximum of 44 children were rescued by Kendrapara district police whereas Bhadrak and Balasore districts have rescued 41 and 38 children respectively. A total of 35 children were rescued by Cuttack urban police district, he added.
