Bhubaneswar: Popular Canadian singer Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’, that released earlier this month sparked various challenges and memes on social media with fans asking ‘Kiki, do you love me?’.
However, Odisha police is not very happy about the challenge with videos of people jumping out of the car and getting injured being shared on social media platforms.
Odisha Police took to Twitter to show its concern as well, asking people to ‘#ControlYourFeelings’ and have ‘#SenseOverTrend’.
They posted a video showing why one should stay away from this dangerous challenge, where people can be seen jumping out of a slow-moving car and dancing keeping pace with the vehicle to get into it again.
The video closes with a message,’Don’t get swayed away with what’s in trend, Your life deserves way more than that’ and we couldn’t agree more.
The new trend reportedly stemmed from comedian Lil Shuzi of ‘the Shiggy Show’ who launched an ‘In My Feelings’ challenge where he danced his self-proclaimed ‘Shiggy’ dance to Drake’s tune on June 30. After it went viral, everyone started uploading their own version of the challenge.
Odisha Police has been tweeting about road safety since some time now, especially using memes. A few days ago, it had tweeted a popular Drake meme showing what one shouldn’t do and what one must.
